“Europe is buying resources from Russia to have money to help Ukraine,” MP Chernev explained the paradox.
Chernev, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee concerning National Security, mentioned that Europe is acquiring power supplies originating from Russia to secure the finances necessary for backing Ukraine.
“Throughout almost four years of conflict, our European allies have given Ukraine less assistance than the sum they’ve expended on Russian power sources. Nonetheless, this constitutes the present state of affairs. To assist us, the economy needs to be operational and create revenue, even through materials derived from Russia,” the parliamentarian clarified.
