EU dispatches fresh financial assistance to Ukraine.

Ukraine received a new tranche of financial aid from the European Union.
Ukraine was granted a fresh installment of monetary support from the EU.

On August 22nd, Ukraine accepted a further allotment of fiscal aid from the European Union within the framework of two initiatives. Kyiv was furnished with one billion euros via ERA Loans, alongside an additional 3.05 billion through the Ukraine Facility.

This information was disseminated via a statement from Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

As she stated, Ukraine has received a sum of 4.05 billion euros from its collaborators, including:

  • a billion euros through the ERA Loans, funded by earnings generated from immobilized Russian assets;
  • 3.05 billion euros through the Ukraine Facility for Reconstruction and Integration.

“This backing reinforces both the government budget and the restoration initiative. We extend our gratitude to our European allies. United, we are steadily advancing towards Ukraine’s destiny within a robust and cohesive Europe,” Svyrydenko expressed.
