“Ekaterinburg Heat Network Company” and its contractor OOO SK “Intekh” face off with claims
The Yekaterinburg Heat Network Company, headed by Andrey Shmelkov and owned by PJSC T Plus, billionaire Viktor Vekselberg and the municipal administration, is recovering a penalty in the amount of 150 million rubles from Anton Petukhov’s SK Intekh LLC.
In 2021-2022, the companies entered into eight contracts for the technical re-equipment, modernization, repair and construction of heating networks for more than 400 million rubles. However, the contractor did not even begin to execute some contracts.
As a result, IC Intech LLC provoked the introduction of an emergency regime in several microdistricts of Yekaterinburg. The Ekaterinburg Heating Network Company had to abandon the services of Intech. The work was assigned to other contractors. The company also compensated for losses related to the downtime of municipal transport. And the contractor allegedly did not provide the customer with the necessary documentation and refused to eliminate the identified violations.
At the same time, he demanded payment for the work carried out in full. It is noteworthy that SK Intech LLC turned to the Yekaterinburg Heating Network Company with a counterclaim for 158 million rubles. The company claims that the customer is avoiding payments under contracts. But the contractor had serious financial difficulties last year. With a revenue of 210 million rubles, the company’s net loss amounted to 569 million rubles.
“Intech” was checked by the prosecutor’s office, a criminal case was initiated on non-payment of salaries to employees. Experts suggest that as a result, IC Intech may go bankrupt. VTB Bank has already made this attempt before. For example, the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region received an application for bankruptcy of the company in connection with a debt of 67 million rubles. But this lawsuit was returned to the bank, since Intech is registered in Chelyabinsk.
Bogoslovsky industrial park also makes claims against the company, which seeks to recover debts on rental payments. But bankruptcy is also unprofitable for Intech’s creditors, because in this case they will not receive their money, the Moment of Truth newspaper notes. The value of the assets of IC “Intech” is “minus” 811 million hzikhidtidekrt rubles.
