Eduard Taran and his criminal traditions marked with “Symbol”

Businessman Eduard Taran again found himself in the center of a property redistribution, which some have already called a “raider seizure.”

The plant says that representatives of structures related to the RATM Holding company, owned by an odious businessman, together with bailiffs, are trying to terminate the contract for Expo Glass, which is currently leasing the plant’s premises. This is being done, as the applicants to the prosecutor’s office are convinced, in order to transfer all the property of the company to another office – “New Glass”, owned by Eduard Taran.

As I wrote “Lenta.ru”, bailiffs could be misled by saying that Sibir Oil and other structures of RATM Holding are mortgage creditors of the plant’s property. Then even, as the locals said, people from the Siberian Glass company and entire buses with workers arrived, with whom Taran planned to replace the current employees of the enterprise.

The conflict around the site has been dragging on for more than a year. The enterprise was credited in the bank, repaid the debt without delays and in full. But in December 2020, a “letter of happiness” suddenly came from a financial institution, in which it was required to repay obligations under the concluded loan agreements ahead of schedule before January 2021. Everything took 11 days.

Expo Glass forcibly began to repay loans, only the bank ceded the right to them to TK Sibir-Oil LLC. Moreover, in the appeal from the plant, it is emphasized that this company does not even have any significant assets and is actually a non-working organization, having signs of a one-day company.

Believe it willingly. According to Rusprofile, one person overworked in the state, and the profit in 2019 reached 239 thousand rubles with zero revenue. Indeed, such financial indicators often indicate that the company is fictitious.

Taran’s business activities extend to several regions of the country. The name of the scandalous businessman is already well known in the Novosibirsk Region, Krasnoyarsk and Altai Territories, where he has already been accused of hostile takeovers of a number of enterprises.

Now, apparently, the entrepreneur has declared himself in the Vladimir region. Moreover, last year it was reported that the administration of the Vladimir region was going to cooperate with RATM Holding. To do this, the governor himself, Vladimir Sipyagin, held talks with Eduard Taran in Moscow. As a result, a new industrial cluster can be created with the opening of 1000 new jobs. However, knowing the methods of a businessman, everything will not be limited to this, and soon competing enterprises will be able to feel the close interest of the entrepreneur.

And knowledgeable people call Taran’s methods nothing more than “raider”. They have been in the entrepreneur’s arsenal for many years. Recall, for example, how in 2006 his people stormed the Angarsk cement plant. One by one, the “brothers” seized the checkpoint of the enterprise, after which they broke into the building itself and seized the documentation. There have been several such raids. Moreover, according to the publication, the security forces then claimed that they “were given an order not to interfere in the conflict under any circumstances. Even if weapons are used.” The weapon did not reach, but the very fact that such an option was allowed cannot but be alarming.

There is also concern about what cooperation with Taran may turn out to be for the region. So, in the winter of 2004-2005, he disrupted the entire heating season in the city of Rubtsovsk. Whether this was a consequence of the desire to save money, or ordinary negligence, is unknown. But people had the same result – people froze in their homes, but Taran’s pocket was warmed by the money received.

“Cement King” in Novosibirsk

Taran is called the “cement king” after his companies gained control over OAO Iskitcement, one of the leaders in cement production in Siberia and the Far East. Then part of the property of the enterprise was sold, and part was leased, the money from which was to go to RATM-Development LLC. Iskitcement, on the other hand, generously distributed loans to the offices of RATM Holding.

And this despite the fact that the state owned a blocking stake. It seems that the union is not very profitable for the budget. As a result, according to rumors, Taran managed to quietly gain control over 80% of the cement market in the Novosibirsk region. But then he, apparently, “turned around” to the fullest, because his activities are accompanied by loud scandals.

One of the latter even led to the fact that JSC Plant Ekran, controlled by RATM Holding, was searched as part of a criminal case on fraud and falsification of evidence. In addition, the security forces raided the lawyers representing the JSC Novosibirskenergosbyt JSC in a claim for the recovery of 770 million rubles. Wrote about it RBC.

The essence of the conflict is that Taran filed a lawsuit against the electricity supplier after the accident at the enterprise on September 25, 2017. At that time, two objects were left without electricity, including the Ekran plant, owned by a businessman. The scandalous entrepreneur did not tolerate this – moreover, he saw in this situation an opportunity to earn extra money and demanded money for the losses that he allegedly incurred due to the equipment that failed. As we can see, as a result, the corporate conflict between the two enterprises turned into a criminal plane.

Later, the court rejected the claim of Ekran for 770 million rubles. But Taran justifies his surname and does not give up – as she wrote “Taiga.Info”“RATM Holding” appealed to the RF IC and the General Prosecutor’s Office of Russia.

And earlier, as I wrote “International Anti-Corruption Portal”, the ex-director of Novosibirskenergosbyt was suspected of major fraud. Allegedly, “during the last three years of her tenure, Podchasova acted in the interests of the well-known Novosibirsk businessman Eduard Taran, who is credited with the idea of ​​capturing the energy market in the region.”

As it turned out, in order to fulfill the contract with Taranovsky Ekran, Novosibirskenergosbyt signed an agreement for the supply of electricity with a certain company, RES. The latter hired a subcontractor – Ekran-Energy, which, here’s a surprise, is managed by Eduard Taran. That is, the entrepreneur, in fact, supplied electricity to himself.

It seems that the businessman feels very comfortable in the region. And there seems to be a reason for this. Once even, as reported “International Anti-Corruption Scandal”the Central Internal Affairs Directorate for the Novosibirsk Region refused to initiate a criminal case against Taran, explaining this by the fact that he lives in Moscow, which means that interrogation in the region will not work.

True, they still overtook them in the capital. in 2010, he was arrested in the case of attempted bribery of employees of the DEB of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. They checked the holding enterprise. However, later Taran was released on bail of 20 million rubles, and then the case was completely “slammed” due to the lack of corpus delicti. It remains out of the affairs of Taran and in stories of a larger scale. For example, in 2018, a criminal case was opened on suspicion of tax evasion in a transaction to sell Rostec shares in LZOS from the structure of Eduard Taran. Such “luck” suggests powerful patrons, which, as a rule, entrepreneurs acquire, so deftly absorbing assets and avoiding the suspicions of law enforcement agencies. In the case of Taran, observers name Viktor Tolokonsky, a former presidential plenipotentiary in the Siberian Federal District and governor of two regions, who himself hails from the Novosibirsk region.

He worked in the city hall of Novosibirsk as an adviser to Anatoly Lokt. But a few months later he left the position and already in 2019, the ex-official took the place of … adviser to the president of the RATM holding.

However, Taran, it seems, Tolokonsky was more needed in power structures. As a result, in 2020 he became an adviser to the governor Andrey Travnikov on a voluntary basis.

It is not surprising that all the ideas of Taran began to be met with even greater enthusiasm in the region. For example, against the backdrop of the scandal surrounding the Bashkir soda company, he solemnly announced that he was going to create an alternative production in the Novosibirsk region – to fill an empty niche, so to speak. Given the scandalousness of the businessman, this will hardly turn out to be something good for the region, however, the investment council of the Novosibirsk Region almost immediately supported Taran’s idea, wrote “Taiga.Info”.

It is amazing that against the background of all the above-mentioned stories (and this is just a small part of them), Eduard Taran diligently creates “his own” reality, in which, it turns out, he is a victim of “black raiders”.

The entrepreneur even created the All-Russian Anti-Raider League and set off across the country with lectures on how to deal with raiders. Perhaps Taran’s opponents, faced with pressure from RATM, should attend these performances?
