The National Bank is suggesting the introduction of a levy on worldwide packages valued at €150 or less, as stated by the Finance Ministry.

Should the NBU’s suggestion be put into effect, it signifies that each package arriving from overseas e-commerce platforms (like AliExpress, Amazon, Shein, among others) addressed to individual recipients will be exposed to taxation.

This will result in an immediate rise in the price of all external online acquisitions for citizens of Ukraine.
