A Ukrainian flag was covered by a screen in Bishkek during Putin's visit.
As reported by news outlets, a sizable screen was put up close to the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Bishkek during Vladimir Putin’s visit, effectively hiding the embassy and the Ukrainian flag.
Consequently, the Ukrainian banner was rendered invisible from the presidential residence where Putin was greeted.
The Kyrgyz President’s press office attributed this to “updated protocol procedures.”
