The Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, communicated this during a general assembly.
He further mentioned that the criteria have been tightened: eligibility for benefits now requires a minimum of one full term (currently five years)—formerly, just a single day sufficed. Furthermore, individuals who bring dishonor to the legislative body are now ineligible for these retirement benefits.
