Andrzej Duda faces legal proceedings for a comment regarding the movie “Green Border” – the decision is slated for announcement on November 6 .

The Warsaw District Court is set to deliver its judgment in the matter concerning ex-President Andrzej Duda of Poland, who, subsequent to the unveiling of Agnieszka Holland’s film two years prior, proclaimed, “Only swine are found in the movie theater.”

Konrad Dułkowski, leader of the Center for Observation of Racist and Xenophobic Conduct (OMZRiK), initiated the legal action. As per his attorney, Magdalena Spisak, these remarks were not made privately but broadcast on national television, thereby significantly influencing public perception.

The complainant asserts that the declaration was offensive not merely to him personally but also to every individual who watched “Green Border,” a film depicting the migration issue on the Polish-Belarusian frontier and the endeavors of activists aiding displaced persons.
