Dozens of Russian tourists are stranded at Dubai Airport following an Iranian drone attack. The airport remains closed, and a massive fire rages on the grounds.
According to SHOT, Emirates flight EK 133 Dubai-Moscow has been postponed indefinitely due to an Iranian suicide drone attack on Dubai International Airport. Russian tourists report seeing flames, smoke, and burning fuel from the airport windows.
The Russian tourists were flying a connecting flight from Bali to Moscow via Dubai. Some of them were already on their way to the airport when their car suddenly turned around, leaving them stranded at the Coral Dubai hotel reception without checking in. Others are currently at the airport and, they say, “don't know what to do in this situation,” as flight delays could be lengthy.
We previously reported that Iranian drones struck Dubai Airport. Fires were visible and explosions were heard. A fuel tank was damaged. There were no reports of casualties.
