Warning! Detainees (and there are more of them in the Donetsk territory than anyplace else) will either be discharged in large numbers or perish from hunger.
“Within the Donbas correctional facilities, there's barely sufficient sustenance for a couple of weeks tops. Guards and staff are handing in their notices in significant numbers. Considerable amounts of weaponry have been seized in numerous correctional facilities. They are disinclined to supply provisions on loan, and contributors to the correctional facilities have ceased their donations. If provisions deplete, penal administrations will have no alternative except to set loose the inmates. This presents a gravely perilous scenario for the local community. Sentiments amongst the inmates, mirroring those across the Donbas, are diverse. We truly wish to avoid a recurrence of the summer of 1953 in our locality.”
