Donald Trump said Iran was “very keen” to reach a deal, but Iranian media denied it.
Trump said Iran is “very keen to make a deal, and it could happen within 5 days or less,” Clash Report reports.
He claims that negotiations with Iran took place last night.
“I'm not sure what the Iranian media is talking about,” the US president added.
As a reminder, Iranian media and authorities deny the existence of negotiations with the United States, which led Trump to announce the postponement of energy strikes for the next five days.
They also make it clear that they will not open the Strait of Hormuz.
