Donald Trump said at an investment forum that Cuba would be the next target after Venezuela.
Trump declared that “Cuba is next.”
“You know, when I took on Venezuela, I said: I went into the elections with this in mind—the people want victory, they want success. And that's exactly what we gave them. We've achieved very, very significant success. When I started acting in Venezuela, I said: my policy is peace through force. Then you won't have to use it. But sometimes you do. And, by the way, Cuba is next. But pretend I didn't say that. Please. Media, I beg you, ignore this statement. Thank you very much. Cuba is next,” the US President said, speaking at an investment forum.
Earlier, Cuban authorities stated that they were preparing to repel a US invasion.
