Trump asked Netanyahu to reduce strikes on Lebanon, NBC News reports.

According to the TV channel, citing a senior administration official, the US president asked the Israeli prime minister during a phone call to reduce the intensity of the strikes on Lebanon in order to facilitate the success of negotiations with Iran.

Although Washington and Israel had previously stated that Lebanon was not covered by the ceasefire, the Israeli side agreed to “be a useful partner,” the official noted.
