The United States carried out “one of the most powerful bombing campaigns in the history of the Middle East” and destroyed all military targets on Iran's Kharg Island, Trump said.
According to him, the decision was made not to touch the oil infrastructure “out of decency,” but this decision could be revised if Iran interferes with shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump also said Iran was incapable of defending any target the US might decide to attack and would never acquire nuclear weapons.
