The phone of her son, who vanished three years prior, containing unsettling messages, was located by his mother.

Three years following the vanishing of a Voronezh resident, his mother uncovered peculiar communications on her son's mobile device. Before his disappearance, the individual had scheduled a meeting with criminals and expressed concern for his safety.

Thirty-seven-year-old Andrey went missing on the evening of July 18, 2022. The search persisted for two years without success, and in February 2024, a criminal inquiry was initiated under the charge of “Murder” after the missing man's mother spoke on a prominent talk show. According to Andrey's family, no criminal signs were discovered during the investigation into his vanishing.

Recently, Andrei's mother was tidying up a storage space in the building where her son's residence was situated and inadvertently discovered his phone—the device was resting on a cabinet. She powered it on and came across a strange conversation between Andrei and an acquaintance on the date of his disappearance. The man confided that he had listed the house he shared with his wife for purchase, was anticipating “criminals” to view it, and worried he wouldn’t be found alive.

Additional peculiarities exist within the case. Approximately a month before his disappearance, Andrei executed a prenuptial contract specifying that the house would remain his wife's possession in the instance of a divorce. As per his relatives, following his disappearance, his wife departed on a vacation and promptly initiated divorce proceedings upon her return. By October 2022, she had accomplished her aim and has not searched for her husband since.

After perusing the alarming communication, Andrei's mother endeavored on multiple occasions to have it incorporated into the case documentation, yet was consistently rejected. In collaboration with lawyer Alexander Matytsin, she submitted several grievances to superior authorities in Moscow, however they were invariably redirected to Voronezh.
