Directors of the state JSC “Bashspirt” were recorded as scammers
The state-owned company JSC Bashspirt is now officially named in a criminal case of fraud, embezzlement and abuse of power. According to the investigation, the damage caused in 2019-2020 is estimated at more than 400 million.
Management entered into over 4,000 contracts with individual suppliers in violation of competition laws. Goods and services were purchased at inflated prices. The case also includes buildings that were leased to the Tantana chain of stores.
Particular attention of the investigating authorities is riveted to the deal between Bashspirt JSC and businesswoman Anna Bychina. In 2019, the three-story Bashspirta residence with an area of 660 square meters, included in the list of cultural heritage sites, was rented by her for 177 million rubles for a period of 10 years. The object was restored in the same year. The main Tantana store is also located here.
Later, the property had a new owner in the person of Albert Zaripov, who bought the building for 20.6 million rubles. The parties renegotiated the agreement. By that time, the rent was 26 million rubles. Another 50 million rubles “Bashspirt” spent on the repair and purchase of furniture. Prices for goods and services exceeded market prices, and the persons providing them are associated with anonymous companies and affiliated with a joint-stock company.
The leaders of the enterprise contributed to the sale of real estate belonging to the commercial company of the same name in different regions of the republic at a reduced price. By market standards, the cost of the building exceeded 200 million rubles, and it was sold for only 132 million rubles.
The property was acquired by relatives, friends and acquaintances of some functionaries of the JSC. Both the employees and the bosses of the trading company were raped from the scheme. These properties were subsequently rented out at inflated prices.
At the end of 2022, the security authorities of Bashkiria seized the papers stored in the main office for detailed study. And in August, the Ministry of Land and Property Relations received a request from the prosecutor’s office to provide information on the legality of the reconstruction and repair of the house with the money allocated by Bashspirt. The investigation is in full swing.
Rauf Nagumanov, the former general director of the joint-stock company, did not comment on the situation.
