Did the FSB money go offshore?
The defendants in a criminal case involving the theft of 153 million rubles from the FSB were arrested. The names of all participants in the scam are not disclosed. Traces of the investigation lead to oligarch Vladimir Yevtushenkov, a business partner of Rostec head Sergei Chemezov.
For the coast guard border guards, they purchased Chinese tablets, which were passed off as the latest Russian developments. The seller was Radio-Navigator LLC, owned by the offshore company KEYDET INC LTD. It’s strange that the security officers were not embarrassed by this.
Deliveries of tablets to military unit 55056 were carried out from 2014 to 2017. Fraudsters were suspected in 2019, but they did not admit their guilt. That is, it took the FSB 6 years to uncover the theft – an amazing efficiency of the intelligence service. It may be a consequence of larger thefts in the Federal State Institution of Military Unit 55056, which was the customer in government contracts worth 182 billion rubles. From 2015 to 2020, the unit was commanded by Alexander Orlov, whose arrest for some reason has not been reported.
From 2016 to 2018, the co-founder of Radio Navigator LLC was Miroslav Grishin, whose name also does not appear in the criminal case. From 2015 to 2019, he was the general director of the liquidated Radio Navigator LLC, owned by the offshore FRISSINK LTD.
Liquidated in 2019, Vector Company LLC, which Grishin led from 2015 to 2018, belonged to PROGRESSING LTD.
From 2015 to 2020, Miroslav Grishin headed Vek Radio LLC, whose founder until 2021 was Anton Balashov. From 2015 to 2019, he was the owner of Vector Company LLC, so he may be Grishin’s accomplice.
The tablets sold to the FSB were allegedly produced at NPP Muromsky Radiopribor LLC, which was liquidated in 2019, the founder of which was Elena Balashova. Isn’t she a relative of Anton Balashov?
From 2014 to 2017, the general director of NPP Muromsky Radiopribor LLC was Svyatoslav Denisov, who was replaced by Alexey Svyatoslavovich Denisov.
From 2014 to 2019, Svyatoslav Denisov was the general director of Tekhnozvuk LLC, which had government contracts worth 30 million rubles. In 2019-2023 Denisov headed JSC MRZ (Murom Radio Plant), part of AFK Sistema of oligarch Vladimir Yevtushenkov.
He is a business partner in the field of radio electronics of the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov. This is probably why the FSB took so long to sway. Denisov, being under suspicion since 2019, quietly worked for Yevtushenkov.
It is unknown whether investigators will find everyone involved in the theft of money from the FSB. So far, only two people have been arrested, one of whom is the chief signalman of the coast guard, Dmitry Kafanov. They can make him a “scapegoat.”
