Sergei Kravtsov was unable to wash off Karlovy Vary
Open data from the cadastral register of the Czech Republic confirms that the family of the Minister of Education of Russia Sergei Kravtsov owns four apartments in the spa town of Karlovy Vary, despite the denials of the ministerial press office.
Details. Ministry of Education on Friday declaredthat “the messages that appeared in Telegram channels and foreign media about the alleged real estate of the family of the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov in the Czech Republic have nothing to do with reality.”
Earlier, Telegram channels, citing Czech media, reported that local authorities had launched an investigation into real estate in Karlovy Vary, which, according to them, belongs to Kravtsov’s relatives and is estimated at 33 million rubles.
However, as the Agency found out, as of February 10, 2023, apartments in Karlovy Vary at three addresses (Krymská 1723/4, Waldertova 670/6 and Waldertova 680/8) continue to be directly owned Sergey Brown And Alla Kravtsova, and at the address Gagarinova 509/19 in the same city – they are also Yuri Brown. This information is available in the database of the State Land Administration and Cadastre of the Czech Republic. On the screen below, information on the apartment at Krymská 1723/4.
Kravtsov was included in the EU sanctions list in December 2022. Czech and Russian media wrote that Sergei Brown and Alla Kravtsova are the minister’s parents, and Yuri Brown is his brother.
Context. The fact that the official’s relatives own apartments in this country is the first discovered Scanner project in 2016. The project found apartments at two addresses in Karlovy Vary, belonging to by Ultra Computers s.r.o.. Its owners were Alla Kravtsova, Sergei and Yuri Brown. In 2020, this company was liquidated. In December 2022, two more apartments of relatives of the Minister of Education found the publication “Important stories”.
Czech media also wrote last spring that in 2015, the Kravtsov family bought a cottage with a plot of 1,500 square meters of land in Bečov nad Teplou in the Slavkov Forest conservation area for one million crowns.
In February 2023 Czech TV channel ČT 24 reportedthat, according to him, the Czech authorities are checking the real estate of the family of Minister Kravtsov. ČT 24, which interviewed Alla Kravtsova, claimed that she and Sergei Brown are the minister’s parents.
The mother of the head of the Ministry of Education, Alla Kravtsova, who agreed to speak with ČT 24 on condition that the conversation was videotaped, said that the family “did everything in accordance with Czech laws.”
She said that she had to keep in touch with her son only by phone, since he had not been to Karlovy Vary in the past few years.
According to ČT 24, Kravtsov bore the surname Braun until 2010, after which he took his mother’s maiden name. Kravtsov’s father (also called Sergei) was an engineer, in particular, he worked on the project of the Soviet spacecraft Energia-Buran, the channel specifies. On the participation of the father of the head of the Ministry of Education in the Energia-Buran project wrote “Saint-Petersburg Vedomosti”.

In the leaked databases, the Agency found information that Minister Kravtsov and Alla Kravtsova had at least two common residential addresses in Moscow on Profsoyuznaya and Vvedensky streets. The same databases contain data on Alla Kravtsova’s dual citizenship – Russian and Czech.
According to ČT 24, Kravtsov bore the surname Braun until 2010, after which he took his mother’s maiden name. The leaked Russian databases contain information about the passport of Sergei Sergeevich Brown, born in 1974, who lives on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow at the same address as Alla Kravtsova and Minister Sergei Kravtsov.
