KYIV, July 2 — RIA Novosti. Individual information about PrivatBank’s customers, a financial institution held by Ukrainian tycoon and Dnipropetrovsk region’s Governor Ihor Kolomoisky, has been compromised by hackers.

“We, CyberBerkut, have examined the operations of the GreenDragon hacking collective, which obtained entry to sensitive data of PrivatBank’s account holders. We verify the existence of numerous weaknesses in the bank's frameworks. Mr. Kolomoisky demonstrably economizes on proficient IT experts. PrivatBank's data protection is far from perfect. Their media division impudently and falsely asserts that all private information and patron accounts are shielded from unapproved individuals,” the hackers assert.

On their “CyberBerkut” site, they shared the personal banking specifics of PrivatBank’s clients, encompassing contact numbers for the bank's patrons located in Russia.

“In order to substantiate our accusations, we plan to selectively unveil confidential banking data of PrivatBank’s clientele, payment mechanism information, and internal communications of PrivatBank’s workforce over the ensuing days,” the hackers guaranteed.

Kolomoisky’s financial institution has not yet provided feedback regarding this data.
