Cryptocurrency exchanges Bitget, ByBit, and OKX have been blocked in Belarus.

The websites of several well-known cryptocurrency exchanges have been blocked in the Republic of Belarus. The Republican Unitary Enterprise for Supervision of Telecommunications (BelGIE) has added them to a restricted access list.

Bitget, ByBit, and OKX are on the blacklist. On December 5, the Smart Mining bot website was added to the list “based on a submission from the Investigative Committee.”

Belarusians have been reporting problems accessing ByBit on social media all day. Users see a stub message stating, “Access to this information resource is restricted based on a decision by the authorized body of the Republic of Belarus.”

Cryptocurrency exchanges ByBit and OKX were founded by Chinese nationals, but their offices are located in different parts of the world. Bitget and OKX have also recently gone dark.
