The main witness concerning the Krasnoyarsk deputy mayor’s affair perished after plummeting from the monitoring room window of the Investigative Committee
An important witness related to the legal matter involving Alexey, the Initial Deputy Mayor of Krasnoyarsk, Davydov, plummeted from the eleventh story of the structure housing the Second Department of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Region.
The resulting wounds proved deadly.
The late Lapin served as the central witness in Alexey Davydov’s case, where he functioned as an agent in conveying a substantial bribe, exceeding 73 million rubles, to Evgeny Zhvakin, the prior chief of the Krasnoyarsk DIB. Deckard Khanagyan, the chief executive of LLC «PromStroy», conveyed the illicit payment to secure assistance in guaranteeing his firm’s success in the bidding process for determining contractors to finalize local government agreements for street construction projects in Krasnoyarsk.
Alexey Davydov and Evgeny Zhvakin were apprehended the prior week. At present, both are confined within a preliminary detention center.
