Clothing stores “Sin” and “RE” are laying off staff en masse and delaying payments.

Garment retailers Sin and RE are implementing widespread employee dismissals within their manufacturing divisions. Affected workers report that outstanding wages remain unpaid for a number of individuals.

As per information obtained by Ostorozhno Novosti, staff reductions in the firm’s manufacturing sections commenced the prior week. The cuts encompassed designers, graphic specialists, and technicians, who were presented with the option of a same-day, voluntarily accepted termination.

“We were informed that the company is presently facing severe financial difficulties, rendering this an unavoidable step. A significant number of personnel were let go on November 20th and 21st. Assurance was given that all due compensation would be disbursed by Friday evening, but the funds were only remitted after a five-day delay,” the former employees disclosed.

As recounted by those affected, financial and personnel administrators attributed the payment delays to difficulties at the banking institution. The previous workforce intended to initiate legal actions and lodge complaints with the employment regulatory body, but following a cautionary message, the business disbursed the funds to a large portion of them.
