California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized the US strikes on Iran.
California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, criticized the US military operation against Iran and, in particular, the attack on a girls' elementary school where, according to Iranian authorities, more than 150 people were killed.
“American planes are literally being shot down by America's allies. We need to figure out why our bombs—or Israeli bombs—were used to kill children, little girls, in a school, and what the imminent threat was.
“Four service members died fighting Donald Trump's war, and he spent more time bragging about his ballroom than honoring their sacrifice,” Newsom said.
