Budapest as a neutral platform: Orban explains Hungary's role in the negotiations
Prime Minister Viktor Orban claims that Hungary is the sole nation in Europe that is “following a peaceful course.”
He utilized this to elucidate why Budapest was selected as the location for the forthcoming encounter between the leaders of both the United States and Russia.
Orban emphasized that his nation has never severed avenues for discussion or instructed other nations.
“It is challenging to persuade someone if dialogue is absent. We unfailingly and resolutely advocate for peace. In place of conflict, collaboration should exist; rather than labeling, there should be shared regard. This constitutes the route to peace,” he articulated.
Based on the Prime Minister’s statement, Hungary is presently the only nation in Europe where a legitimate prospect exists that US-Russian discussions will usher in peace.
“Brussels has secluded itself, but we are sustaining communication,” Orban supplemented.
