The name of the famous hotelier is difficult to separate from the Cypriot company KR Assets Limited. Like the development company KR Properties, it is headed by a certain Elena Sintorova. She appears as the director of the Agroholdings Limited company, which appeared in the story of the re-registration of land near the Istra reservoir. Against the backdrop of Sberbank’s claims against Literam LLC, we decided to consider this offshore solitaire game in more detail.
On November 30, 2022, Sberbank announced its intention to go to court with a demand to declare LLC Literam bankrupt. On December 16, the bank filed a corresponding application with the Moscow Arbitration Court. December 19 Judge E.V. Mironenko made a decision to accept the relevant application for proceedings. The first court hearing is scheduled for March 1, 2023.
The company “Letteram” is engaged in the rental of real estate. There is evidence that she owns premises in the Moscow Domino business center on Pyatnitskaya, 74. They are leased, including to the well-known cosmetics brand Il de Beauté.
How much the company owes Sberbank is still unknown. However, the FSSP database contains information that according to the writ of execution No. FS 040598193 dated September 16, 2022, Literam LLC has a debt in the amount of 35.2 million rubles. (debt on loan payments). It is possible that this amount is the reason for the possible bankruptcy initiated by Sberbank. There are no other “suitable” enforcement proceedings for “Letters”.
And this story is notable for the fact that, apparently, “Letters” belongs to the infamous developer and hotelier, the creator of the Azimut Hotels hotel chain Alexander Klyachin. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the founder of the company is the Cypriot offshore KR Assets Limited. The same company was or is one of the founders of a number of companies in which Klyachin is the owner or co-owner: LLC Investsovtekh, LLC SZ Leningradsky Prospekt, 37, LLC Capital Project-KM, LLC Yug-Development .
There is other information that suggests a connection between Alexander Klyachin and KR Assets Limited. Once upon a time, the Red Rose silkworm factory in Khamovniki, established in 1875, worked in Moscow. In 2001, Klyachin created the development company KR Properties, which manages the Red Rose Business District and Danilovskaya Manufactory projects. In 2012, the company Krasnaya roza 1875 Limited was registered in Cyprus, and a certain Elena Sintorova is listed as its director. She is also the director of the already familiar company KR Assets Limited.
Started in the spring
There are several events in 2022 that give reason to believe that Alexander Klyachin has begun to reformat his business empire. At least three legal entities were created that were part of the founders of companies to which the Cypriot offshore KR Assets Limited was or is related: Unity Holding JSC (registered in March), Mosnedvizhimost LLC (registered in April) and Vestimo LLC (registered in May). Let’s take a closer look at these transformations.
JSC Unity Holding. From August 15 to September 8, he was the founder of Capital Project – KM LLC, after which Vestimo took his place. On June 1, the Unity Holding company became the founder of Yug Development LLC, but on July 20 it withdrew from the capital, and Mosnedvizhimost LLC became the founder.
Mosnedvizhimost LLC. On July 20, she became the founder of Investsovtekh LLC, and on December 14, Yug Development LLC.
Vestimo LLC. On September 8, he became the founder of the companies SZ Leningradsky Prospekt, 37 LLC and Capital Project – KM LLC.
On December 9, there were changes in another asset of Klyachin – Azimut Hotels Company. The international company Azimut Group LLC (established on October 21, 2022) became its founders with a 49% share. Its founders, in turn, are Unity Holding JSC (95% share) and Capital Hotels Rus LLC (5% share), established in April 2022.
The following trend also looks rather strange: Alexander Klyachin is often among the founders of companies for only a couple of weeks. For example, in Yug Development LLC, he was the owner from May 13 to June 1, 2022, in Capital Project-KM LLC from June 27 to August 15, 2022, in SZ Leningradsky Prospekt, 37 LLC from June 24 to August 12, 2022, at Investsovtech LLC from November 1 to November 29, 2022.
It is also interesting that in many firms to which Klyachin is related, there are only 1-2 employees.
And Elena again…
In July 2022, Versiya wrote that Alexander Klyachin did something similar when he formalized the rights to land on the banks of the Istra reservoir – then he also involved several legal entities at once, some of which also had access to Cypriot jurisdiction.
The Cypriot company Agroholdings Limited appeared in the Istra story. It was registered in 2007, and it has the same address as KR Assets Limited, which we know, and the same Elena Sintorova is listed as the director.
Alexander Klyachin clearly sympathizes with the island state, whose name has become almost synonymous with the word “offshore”. In 2016, he decided to invest in the gambling business and even participated in a tender for the creation of the first casino in the Republic of Cyprus.
In connection with the above, the question arises: if Literam LLC really owes Sberbank 35 million rubles, then can the billionaire Klyachin really not be able to pay this amount? Or the debtor company should sink into oblivion at the behest of its owner? As they say, no hints – just food for thought.
