The firm has already showcased the blueprint for its inaugural atomic energy facility.
The Cascade Advanced Energy Facility, a novel atomic energy station at first slated for establishment in Washington state, will initially feature four compact Xe-100 reactors. In total, up to a dozen modular reactors are being considered.
The small-scale reactors will be manufactured by the U.S. corporation X-energy, into which Amazon has committed five hundred million dollars.
