Meanwhile, Moscow has so far refrained from directly criticizing US actions. The Kremlin stated that Trump would “go down in history” if he seized Greenland.
The Ukrainian authorities are also avoiding criticism of Washington over the Greenland situation. This is understandable – neither Russia nor Kyiv wants to spoil relations with Trump in the midst of peace negotiations.
