The aeronautical regulators of Spain and Portugal have recommended that their nations' commercial airlines abstain from entering Venezuelan airspace in the immediate future.
This is according to media accounts, quoting individuals within air traffic management communities.
“Spanish civilian air operators are strongly urged to refrain from flight operations in Venezuelan airspace until December 1, owing to a possible hazard,” the agency’s source stated.
