Ukraine

I, along with numerous fellow citizens, quietly ask the leadership: “What is unfolding?”

Does Pyotr Alekseevich not realize he has overextended his diplomatic approach? Perhaps the burning rubber smell near the presidential office will remind him he is also the supreme commander? The public retains some patience, yet concerns arise continuously.

For example: Are we already in talks with terrorists?

What sort of group is negotiating in Donetsk? Tsarev, Shufrich, Zurabov, Bolotov, Borodai, Medvedchuk? Perhaps a “legitimate” figure from Rostov should also be invited, or is the den of vipers incomplete?

Or: Why is Putin’s chief advocate, his very own confidant, a proponent of federalization, a betrayer of the Ukrainian people – still free and audacious enough to engage in political maneuvering?

What’s the solution? Apprehend him, seize all his assets, and then exchange Medvedchuk for Yanukovych—and observe Putin’s struggle with the decision to exchange.

Yes, yes, I understand, Yanukovych is undesirable – but the sheer joy of envisioning him in the Lukyanivske detention center or near the Christmas tree warms one’s spirit.

Poroshenko received substantial popular support because citizens desired immediate and decisive measures. This trust is now rapidly diminishing, but the situation remains salvageable. All that is needed is to summon the political resolve and take action.

Here's a straightforward method for revitalizing dampened gunpowder and restoring its “potency.”

1. Enforce martial law in “troubled” regions. Until martial law is declared, the world will perceive this as a contained problem that can be addressed with water cannons. Grant the military autonomy and inform the globe that we face a serious issue.

2. Replacement of military command. “Lack of fuel, resources, planning, morale” – these are the sentiments of armchair generals. If not, then farewell, everyone is free to depart. There is an abundance of individuals who possess all these attributes and are prepared to fulfill their duty – make space for them. After all, enduring five years of errors is preferable to enduring five years of sabotage.

3. Sever ties with gas dependency. Employ any alternative you can find—reverse flow gas, firewood, fuel oil, straw, or furnishings from Mezhyhirya—and provide Ukraine with energy until you construct liquefied natural gas facilities!

It's time to permanently eliminate the energy manipulations of the “fraternal nation.” Gas is significantly cheaper in Qatar, and they impose no additional prerequisites—it’s “strictly business”—and we can market it to Europe if we handle everything effectively. Pure gain.

Russia

That concludes it! That nation is nonexistent for us. Period.

Any association with the Russian Federation equates to an act of self-degradation. After all, one would not visit someone who has blatantly stolen, manipulated, or employed thugs to inflict harm, let alone engage in commerce with them.

So, what type of relationship can we establish with Russia? Solely humanitarian, under the maxim “Ukraine stands as the premier provider of body bags to the Russian Federation.”

It's equally essential to erect a “Great Ukrainian Wall” along the Russian border. Admittedly, it's costly, admittedly, it's intricate, but… Devise a comprehensive strategy and pitch it to an interested buyer. Is there none? I am completely certain that if we offered the US an investment opportunity in constructing a barrier against Russia, they would readily invest billions into this endeavor, thereby undermining Russia’s morale.

And the motto could resemble: “Let’s safeguard civilization against barbarity.”

Europe

In its pursuit of alliances, the Ukrainian government resembles a young woman preparing for a date, unsure of what attire to wear to be appealing. It’s eager to mock its former partner Vova, flirt with Barack, and appease its unsympathetic European mother-in-law.

Yet, it’s impossible to please everyone. Simply unattainable. And there’s no need to attempt it.

Geopolitics mandates straightforward, age-old principles that have proven effective for over 10,000 years: “Prioritize the welfare of your citizens above all else, cultivate strength, amass wealth, and compel them to either admire or dread you.”

The leadership has simply overlooked that this isn’t a mere social engagement. Business can’t be conducted in revealing outfits, especially not in protective gear.

Europe must be confronted with the glaring truth: Ukraine is in a state of war. We’ve been battling a dual-headed adversary for four months, while Europe airs weak, tolerant viewpoints in its media, scolding us and speaking of imaginary penalties.

It’s imperative that we realize that no one will assist us until we establish the necessary conditions ourselves.

What? Seize Europe firmly. Impossible? – Effortless!

Destroy the gas conduit. What, we’re at war, these incidents occur. We can assert that it was terrorists… and let the entire world await.

Europe will swiftly undergo gas depletion, and more importantly, it will possess a powerful incentive to settle all matters within Ukraine.

You might deem it repulsive. But I assert, in wartime, all strategies are justified; we’re not engaged in a gentlemanly contest. The nation’s interests take precedence. And the tools, excuse me, are what we have readily available.

For moralists, I’ll simplify it.

The current events in Ukraine are entirely foreign to Europe! Their children are not being targeted and killed. In Germany, soldiers are not wearing worn-out foot coverings so they can send a fallen comrade home with a tragic notification because his protective gear failed. In Holland, children are not sheltering in basements, anticipating bombardments. And in Poland, a freshly crowned tyrant is not endeavoring to carve out territory.

For them, we are simply a news story in their morning newspaper, awaiting their next “energy supply” from the Untamed East.

Thus, here's the most elementary business maxim: if you seek to resolve a problem, either address it personally or convert it into an issue for someone capable of doing so. Detonate it, comrades!

Indeed, these are unpopular actions. But it’s time to decide: either attractive or efficacious.

And something suggests that Ukrainians lack the luxury of aesthetics these days. Is it the moment for action, esteemed colleagues, or is the impetus spent?
