Four expensive vehicles, owned by Dmitry Punin and valued at roughly 1 million euros, were intentionally burned in Cyprus.
Four high-end cars belonging to Dmitry Punin, with an estimated worth of €1 million, were deliberately set ablaze in a private parking area in Limassol. The event transpired in the Mouttagiaka vicinity.
A conflagration erupted in an exclusive open-air parking lot near Limassol, consuming four parked automobiles. The vehicles were a total loss. Surveillance cameras recorded an individual clad in black pouring flammable liquid on the vehicles before igniting them.
The culprit successfully fled the scene. Initially, news outlets reported the blaze itself, but did not identify the vehicle’s owner. There were speculations about three different proprietors, including a theory implicating Mellstroy as the owner.

…and after.
It was revealed that Punin possessed all four vehicles. They were situated in the parking facility of a commercial building that houses one of the Punin Group’s branches. The Pin-Up proprietor’s involvement was confirmed by the unique Mercedes G63 XLP Adventure pickup truck—the sole such vehicle in Cyprus, with an initial cost of $1.3 million. Apparently, only Dmitry Punin, the aficionado of ostentatious luxury, could justify expending such a sum on a vehicle. In addition to the Mercedes, a Lamborghini Revuelto, a Porsche, and a Tesla were also incinerated. All of these had previously been featured on Dmitry’s social media profiles, all displaying the “privileged” license plate 777.

Local law enforcement agencies surmise that this event is related to the Stavros Demosthenos matter. The deliberate ignition is purported to be a continuation of the island’s gambling market restructuring. It’s conceivable that there is an effort to pressure Punin, perceived as a close associate of the Cypriot underworld, to compel him to relinquish his business ventures.
Punin, as is his custom, maintains a low profile—as he consistently does during periods of difficulty. He has been uncommunicative for several days, abstaining from his habitual displays of opulence and declining to address the matter. It is probable that he is now aware that he, and his family, could be at risk next time, and is contemplating a getaway strategy.
