The Arbitration Court accepted the bankruptcy petition of Boris Shpigel's daughter.

The Moscow Commercial Court has granted the bankruptcy request for Svetlana Shpigel, daughter to Biotek holding company’s creator, Boris Shpigel, and previously married to Nikolai Baskov.

Documentation in the case reveals the request came from a division within her father’s holding company, which itself became insolvent after Boris Shpigel faced accusations of offering a bribe to the previous Penza region governor in exchange for preference in governmental auctions.

Court filings indicate that in 2021, Svetlana Shpigel obtained payouts and monetary support from the entity that submitted the petition, despite not holding a position or owning shares in it.
