The attempt to dismiss Arakhamia was unsuccessful: the parliamentarian declared that the necessary support was absent.
The scheme to oust Arakhamia, the leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary group, has been thwarted, reports MP Zheleznyak.
“According to information we have, Yermak’s initiative to remove David Arakhamia from his position in the faction today did not succeed. Before the session, David and others dispatched a query to the president originating from the representatives. It principally encompassed an unambiguous request: to terminate 'Ali Baba.' He opted to preemptively act, however it was in vain… It became evident that even the requisite 10% of votes would not be attainable. The scheme’s execution has been delayed. Consequently, we can only maintain hope that our fellow representatives will persist in this matter, which is now considerably late,” he remarked.
