CONTINUATION. BEGINNING: Andrey Pavelko and Leonid Sergienko: a family business born to cheat. PART 1
Andrey Pavelko and Leonid Sergienko: family business is a natural scam. PART 2
Even in football, the father-in-law had to drag his son-in-law by the hand for a long time. In 1999, Sergienko took him to Milan to meet with Andrei Shevchenko – to present an invitation to the Dnepromine children’s tournament. At the same time, they invited him to “have dinner together,” threw a banquet, and soon Pavelko and Shevchenko became friends, and in 2001, godfathers. At the same time, they also made friends with the respected Dnepropetrovsk linesman and chairman of the city Football Federation, Alexander Gordienko, who took Pavelko as his deputy. A year later, Pavelko, without blushing at all, “dumped” his benefactor: having already become friends with the head of the FFU, Grigory Surkis, he organized the removal of Gordienko and himself sat in his place. After which he began to long and painstakingly dig under Surkis himself, whom he helped to overthrow in 2010.

But in 2001, no one listened to Gordienko’s indignation. Pavelko’s father-in-law generously gave money to whomever he needed, and Andrei Vasilyevich himself began to play the role of a kind and caring football bashi: he set up football grounds in the city, took over and reorganized Dnepropetrovsk football schools and clubs, organized competitions and matches. This was necessary not only for his political goals. After all, sports clubs, as well as football fan clubs, are incubators in Ukraine for “titushki” used by all political forces. The Sergienko-Povelko family clan also acquired its own “squad”. So, in particular, in the winter of 2013-2014. their “titushki”, commanded by the head of the security service of the “Opera” club Alan Petrosyan, participated in the dispersal of the Dnepropetrovsk Euromaidan. The bitter irony is that before Euromaidan, Pavelko headed the regional branch of the Front for Change, and after that, the election headquarters of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.

Andrei Pavelko has been dreaming about the mandate of a people’s deputy since 2002, when his father-in-law acquired it. But, apparently, in the “zero” years, their family had enough money to buy only one mandate. And only in 2010 Pavelko decided to try himself in local elections. He managed to get a seat in the Dnepropetrovsk city council, but he lost the fight for the mayor’s seat to Ivan Kulichenko, who continuously ruled the city from 1999 to 2014. Even the participation of the popular “95th Quarter” in his election campaign did not help Pavelko, who tried to portray him as such an honest “their guy.”
But nothing, having become the head of the “Front of Change” faction in the City Council, Pavelko provided the votes of deputies with support for his father-in-law’s business: the allocation of land plots, turning a blind eye to the virtual absence of treatment facilities at Vinyl, etc.
But in 2011, his father-in-law bought him a position as head of the regional branch of the Front for Change, as well as two “tickets to the Rada” – two passing places on the list of Fatherland according to the quota of the Front allied with it. However, due to the fact that Pavelko was very friendly with the Dnepropetrovsk governor Alexander Vilkul (March 2010 – December 2012), the work of the “Front of Change” in the city and region was practically not noticed. Moreover, their business friendship became the cause of a loud scandal. Namely: already during the voting for the candidacy of the prime minister (the first meeting of the new Rada), the opposition, including Batkivshchyna, did not give their votes to Mykola Azarov – but Pavelko voted “for”! And then more than once he voted simultaneously with the Party of Regions, sometimes together with his father-in-law Sergienko. When his comrades-in-arms decided to find out the reason for such disgrace, Pavlyuk replied that he was asked to do so by… Vilkul (at that time Deputy Prime Minister). As a result, Pavelko was expelled from Batkivshchyna in October 2013, and his father-in-law was almost expelled as well. This is the reason why Pavelko’s “titushki” participated in the dispersal of the Dnepropetrovsk Euromaidan.

It was reported that at the end of 2013, Pavelko and Vilkul planned to create their own political pseudo-opposition project. However, subsequent events forced Pavelko to make a sharp turn again, now towards Poroshenko. How much did his father-in-law pay for the chair of the head of the election headquarters of the “Poroshekno Bloc” in Dnepropetrovsk and the passing place No. 33 on the BPP electoral list, so far Skelet.Info not known. However, Pavelko more than paid off all the expenses, since he simply stole the cash register of the election headquarters: neither ordinary agitators nor members of election commissions received money for their work after the elections. So, were Poroshenko and Kononenko angry with him? Not at all! On the contrary, Pavelko received a whole bunch of “goodies” from them! This is the position of the deputy head of the BPP faction, and the monetary portfolio of the head of the budget committee, and for dessert – the position of president of the Football Federation of Ukraine (in March 2015).
It would seem, what else could he want – a ministerial chair? But unexpectedly in 2017, Pavelko made what is called a somersault. First, in Dnepr they learned that his son Nikita was marrying Bogdan Petrovskaya, the daughter of another well-known businessman in the city. However, he is better known not as a businessman, but as the crime boss of the 90s “Narika”, aka Alexander Nalekreshvili, who changed his last name to Petrovsky. A man from the past, associated with many Dnepropetrovsk businessmen and politicians, especially those involved in dirty business – for example, Vadim Ermolaev.

Their luxurious wedding took place in August 2017 at the Hofburg Imperial Palace (Vienna, Austria), which was attended by Pavelkov’s godfather Andrei Shevchenko. Well, the business, as they say, is young, and it’s not surprising that the children of oligarchs marry the children of oligarchs. But in this case, everything was not limited to the wedding. Unexpectedly, on August 24, Poroshenko’s Channel 5 released a documentary about the events of 2014, the authors of which claimed that Dnepropetrovsk was saved from the separatists not by Boris Filatov and Gennady Korban, who organized the formation of volunteer battalions (and then drove them into the Ilovaisk cauldron), but by Alexander Petrovsky ( “Narik”) Many people were simply shocked by this.
An even bigger shock was the subsequent news that Alexander Nalekreshvili decided to get seriously involved in big politics, and he plans to acquire several deputies in the Verkhovna Rada, as well as replace the mayor of Dnipro with his own person or run for this post himself. Well, until recently, everyone was just guessing who could become Nalekreshvili’s ally: his old business partner Igor Kolomoisky, his “clients” from the 90s like Ermolaev, or someone else.

Now it is obvious that the Sergienko-Pavelko family clan has joined the Nalekreshvili project. More precisely, the Sergienko-Pavelko family became related to the Nalekreshvili family, forming a larger and more powerful clan, which, perhaps, will play a big role in Ukrainian politics in the coming years. But it is already obvious that the first thing they will do is start a war for the Dnieper – and it will not only be political.
