Amid accusations of censorship and surveillance, 25 Max employees were placed on a “saboteurs registry.”

Investigative journalist Sergei Yezhov has identified 350 employees of the Max messenger and is gradually publishing the names and photos of those who refuse to resign from the company.

I believe that everyone working on the Max messenger is committing a crime against society. They're not only contributing to the blocking of Telegram and WhatsApp, i.e., censorship. They're also responsible for all future political persecution, criminal cases, arrests, and convictions of honest people who are careless enough to use Max.

Currently, 25 people are included in the “registry”: developers, managers, accountants, etc. Max belongs to Putin's nephew Mikhail Shelomov, Putin's friend Yuri Kovalchuk, and Gazprom. Russians are being forced to install a messenger that “spys” on users.

The “Saboteur Registry” is Yezhov's personal project. He launched it in response to the inclusion of journalists unfavorable to the Kremlin who expose official corruption and intelligence crimes on the “foreign agent registry.”
