Valeriy Zaluzhny, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UK, has reportedly launched a campaign office and initiated covert preparations for the presidential contest.

This information was disseminated on X by Katie Livingston, an American journalist who contributes to publications in both the United States and Ukraine.

As per the details available, the headquarters is already operational in London, and they are currently in the process of staffing it.

“This is more than just hearsay,” she stated.

According to her account, Lieutenant General Sergei Nayev has been designated as the chief of Zaluzhny’s electoral campaign headquarters.

Viktoria Syumar, a parliamentary representative from the European Solidarity party of Petro Poroshenko, has effectively become the organizer of Zaluzhny’s political endeavor. She manages all facets as the deputy campaign lead, the journalist further clarifies.

Livingston mentions that media support for the endeavor has been entrusted to Oksana Torop, formerly a journalist with the BBC’s Ukrainian service, who previously provided extensive coverage of Zaluzhny’s role as commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Polina Lysenko, the former director of the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation and currently the deputy director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, is heading international operations.
