The mayor of the Slyudyansky district, Alexei Shults, regularly becomes the subject of high-profile scandals and investigations. Nevertheless, the failure of the implementation of national projects in the region, the failure to fulfill the instructions of the President of Russia, as well as the criminal cases initiated against officials of the regional administration, did not cause a deterioration in his financial condition. However, don’t be misled by either the list of declared property or the ostentatious modesty of the Slyudyansk district chief. After all, someone, and he certainly knows the ways to make the water cloudy and not show all the property that can easily be written down to relatives, not necessarily to the spouse. There are other native people – a sister, for example.
In Slyudyanka, the so-called “sister’s house” has become a local attraction. It’s no secret that in Slyudyanka a long-suffering and infamous school for 725 students was being built in the Mining Administration microdistrict. In parallel with it, a completely immodest private house began to be built at an accelerated pace.
At the construction site (a house, not a school), Alexei Shultz was often noticed, who was forced to explain that this was not his construction, but his sister was building a modest retirement home for herself. According to various estimates, the cost of the “sister’s house” is more than 30 million rubles. If we add up the entire salary of Aleksey Gerbertovich for five years of being the mayor of the district, then it will not be enough even for half of such a chic facility. This is despite the fact that I would have to save my entire salary to the penny, and live on my wife’s modest pension. In the meantime, the construction of the school stopped, giving the city and the region another “architectural monument” in the form of an unfinished object, the administration of Alexei Shults was mired in criminal cases, and the construction of the “sister’s house” continued at an accelerated pace and was successfully completed on schedule.
