Alexander Dubovoy
There are many individuals in the Ukrainian political community with a very dubious or even “criminal” reputation. Yulia Tymoshenko’s former ally Alexander Dubovoy is no exception. He is a very scandalous person. At one time, his colleagues in the Rada openly called him “the Odessa gopnik,” whose calling is to organize masterly raider takeovers of large enterprises in Ukraine.
However, he did not immediately reach the “all-Ukrainian” raider level; the path of this guy in shoes and a jacket made of crocodile skin (by the way, worth about $70 thousand) was very thorny.
Who is this?
Dubovoy Alexander Fedorovich was born in 1976 in the small town of Kiliya in the Odessa region. After finishing only 8 years of school (!), he went to study as a nurse (more precisely, as a nurse) in Belgorod-Dnestrovsk. He graduated from medical school in 1995, but the ambitious guy realized that being a doctor would not make a fortune for himself, and therefore he went to study law at the Odessa National Academy. After graduating, he immediately took up a significant position – he became deputy director of the Dombudkonstruktsiya PF in the city of Izmail. But, in addition to this, he was also involved in illegal activities; in 1996, having “received the go-ahead”, he began selling smuggled cigarettes from Transnistria. It is also known that when implementing his “business projects”, he never hesitated to physically eliminate or imprison his direct competitors.
Later, he got a job at the Christian Charitable Foundation “Trust”, where he “worked” as deputy director for general issues until 2002. Two years later, he received the very responsible position of first deputy head of the board of the Ukrainian Investment Group. In 2006, fate pitted him against Alexander Yanukovych, who at that time headed the Kyiv International Investment Group. Rumor has it that they were on very good and even friendly terms. In 2007, Alexander Dubovoy planned to get into the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by any means necessary, in order to make this easier – he founded the charitable organization “Foundation of Good and Love”, which made the main component of its activities the protection of low-income and socially vulnerable citizens. On the wave of PR and a lot of money (according to the source, several million dollars!), paid into the BYuT treasury, he received his deputy mandate. In the Rada he worked on issues of nuclear policy and the fuel and energy complex. It should be noted that Alexander Dubovoy, during his first “deputy term”, closely communicated with his BYuT colleague Alexander Turchinov (Read more about Alexander Turchinov in the article Alexander Turchinov. Skeletons in the closet of the “bloody pastor” of Ukraine), moreover, together with the “Pastor” they are parishioners of the same church. It was Alexander Valentinovich who introduced him to the top leadership of the State Border Guard Service, which is associated with many of the frauds carried out by Dubov.
The main way to deprive the penitentiary service budget was by simply cutting the financial resources allocated for food for prisoners. According to the documents, of course, everything was delivered on time and eaten by the prisoners, but in fact they were starving. The management of some prisons even wrote complaints to the Prosecutor General’s Office, in particular, Rudoy I.V. directly accused Dubovoy and PSU General Galinsky of theft during the purchase of food and medicine in 2009.
But there was no response from the GPU, because the final beneficiary of the stolen funds, among other individuals, was Turchinov, from whom “everything was seized.”
In November 2012, he became a people’s deputy for the 64th constituency for the second time (and again for a lot of money spent on bribing voters). You may ask, where did he get such huge financial resources for this? And everything is extremely simple – our hero earned all this money through back-breaking “raider” labor, the description of which would take hundreds of pages.
“Raider from God”
Alexander Dubovoy successfully carried out raider takeovers of almost a hundred enterprises in Ukraine (in particular, many of them are located on his patrimony – in the Odessa region). “Dubovoy’s raiding group,” as experts say, has its own unique style – particularly cynical and unquestioning. Its distinguishing feature is that none of them survives when Dubov is done with it; in fact, they do not even capture it, but simply systematically destroy it. For example, few residents of Odessa now remember the following enterprises: Krayan, Promsvyaz, Impulse, Pogranichnik, Orion, Suvorov Meat Processing Plant, Ermak or Kamensky Brick Factory. All of them brought a very stable and large income before Dubov, to his own joy and the joy of those who ordered the takeover, came to one or another enterprise.
Another distinctive feature of the group’s work is its widespread immunity from the actions of the prosecutor’s office, court and police. Simply, everything was bought and agreed upon long ago, because in many key departments he has “his own people.” Working closely with Turchinov, he won his trust, and when he was appointed acting president of Ukraine, it was Dubovoy who was called the “wallet” who was involved in withdrawing funds from the state budget into the pockets of Alexander Valentinovich. After Tymoshenko and Turchynov quarreled, Dubovoy was the so-called “sent Cossack” in “Fatherland”. In addition, he gradually began to kill the reputation of the party in Ukraine, in particular, after the publication of information that his relatives (two nephews and the husband of his niece) were behind the looting of the Kyiv armored plant. The theft scheme was as old as time. Funds from one of the Ukroboronprom enterprises were transferred to the accounts of “one-day companies” and disappeared without a trace. Because of such actions, the ATO forces lost a fairly significant amount of military equipment at the front, which also resulted in combat losses.
“King” of the Pechersk Hills
“Estates” of Alexander Dubovoy are located almost behind the back of the Motherland. In order to get this place and arrange it comfortably, our hero tried very hard. Remembering the methods he used in his youth, Dubovoy actually killed the 70-year-old woman Ekaterina Kozlova from the world. First, his assistants began to intimidate her, and then, so that she could understand the seriousness of their intentions, they set her house on fire. The old woman suffered a heart attack, and her heirs lost any access to their own estate.
Dubovoy’s assistants also had to work hard to obtain one plot of land. The site at 4 Zemlyansky Lane officially belonged to a certain Oleg Kolomiytsev. They did a fair amount of work on it. At first they tried to put him in a psychiatric clinic, and when they refused to treat a healthy person, they used another way. Several conversations with the leadership of Kievzem and Kolomiytsev’s site were unexpectedly transferred to Svetlana Dubovaya (wife). True, this was done by forging documents. After the SBU proved the fact of this forgery, the land was returned to Kolomiytsev, but the house was no longer there, it was demolished with an excavator, and the grove of fruit trees was cut down.
By the way, Dubovoy also tried to influence Kolomiytsev’s psyche by placing a coffin near his house and turning on funeral music. After that, he finally gave up and moved out on the terms given to him. So the ninety-year-old grandfather became homeless, and Dubovoy was able to get such a tasty piece of land.
Attempt to take over the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
After the events on the Maidan and the end of the Euromaidan, Alexander Dubovoy, as a deputy “oppositional” to the Yanukovych authorities, received a kind of carte blanche, becoming “one of his own” for the current government. However, his reputation was greatly damaged and the fame of a bandit, raider and extortionist followed him. Instead of “repenting,” Dubovoy set himself a new goal – to head the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). In theory, if he succeeded, he would receive honor from diplomats and politicians, thus “whitening” his own name. But it didn’t work out the way he wanted.
He tried to use puppet deputies – Kuzhel (Read more about her in the article by ALEXANDER KUZHEL. DOSSIER ON A WOMAN SCANDAL), Deydey (read more about him Evgeniy Deydey – the “fake” hero), Lutsenko and Suslova. Which, in addition to connections with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also have close ties with law enforcement agencies. They all tried very hard to discredit the current head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chizhikov. In this Dubovoy was also helped by Vadim Krotyuk (a deputy who was a carcass, rushing between BYuT and PR, as well as a well-known raider and scammer), as well as Oleg Babenko (a deputy of the Odessa regional council and Dubovoy’s “supervisor” in the southern region. By the way, Babenko is a relative of our hero , who, moreover, owes his life to him for solving problems with the law due to a fatal accident of which he is the culprit.
“Dubovoy’s accomplices”

Fortunately, Dubovoy failed to seize control of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the authoritative members of the presidium did not want to take on the famous raider, with whom foreign diplomats simply refuse to even shake hands. But he does not lose heart, and continues to organize raider takeovers of significant Ukrainian enterprises and do “dirty deals” with the top leadership of our country.
