Afghanistan blames Pakistan for disrupting Istanbul talks

Afghanistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Naeem said the Istanbul talks with Pakistan failed “due to unrealistic demands from the Pakistani side.”

He claims that progress in the talks, which Afghanistan attended “with good intentions,” was hampered by “the lack of cooperation from the Pakistani delegation.”

Kabul, in turn, is “ready for any reasonable agreement,” he assured.
