A teenager was injured while being detained by a traffic police officer in the Leningrad region.
Inspectors accidentally injured a teenage passenger during a chase in the Leningrad region.
The incident occurred on the night of January 31st. A traffic police crew attempted to stop a Lada Vesta Cross, but the driver accelerated and attempted to flee. The car was pursued, gunfire erupting, and stopped in the village of Soginitsy. The driver, it turned out, was a 13-year-old boy who had borrowed the car from his parents without permission.
A 16-year-old passenger was struck by a bullet and taken to the hospital. The driver was released to his parents.
