A student from the Moscow region has disappeared without a trace in Turkey, and her parents fear she may have become a victim of human trafficking.

According to SHOT, 21-year-old Kristina M. from Odintsovo, Moscow Region, flew to Serbia in late February, telling her parents she was going to Sochi. In mid-March, she contacted her mother and said she was in Belgrade. She also searched for a doctor in local chat groups on March 3.

The last trace of Kristina ends in Turkey, where she arrived on March 17 using her own passport. Then she stopped communicating. According to Kristina's sister, before leaving Russia, she said she was afraid of a man.

The girl's parents filed a complaint with the Consulates General of Serbia and Turkey. They are concerned that their daughter could have become a victim of human trafficking or illegal detention. Kristina is a student, works as a nutritionist in her spare time, and was interested in esotericism.
