A Saudi official accused the US of failing to adequately protect Gulf states from Iranian attacks.
A Saudi official said the US had effectively left Gulf states defenseless against Iranian air attacks as it focused on defending against Israeli attacks.
“There is some resentment from the Gulf countries towards the United States, which pays attention to the security and stability of Israel and its people, but does not pay due attention to the defense aspects of the Gulf Arab countries that are under Iranian attacks,” the official told Al Jazeera.
