A Muscovite was accused of stalking, assault, and arson of his ex-wife's property. She claims her ex-husband has been harassing her for about six months.

As SHOT has learned, 23-year-old Evgeny and 33-year-old Elena met in 2024 in the capital. Their relationship blossomed—they married five months later. Evgeny courted her beautifully, pampering her with expensive gifts and flowers. He convinced her that the ten-year age difference was no obstacle. Their happy marriage ended very quickly.

According to Elena, she began receiving threatening text messages from an unknown person. Evgeny promised to sort things out, claiming he had connections and would resolve everything. Later, the woman discovered it was her husband who had been intimidating her. After this, the Muscovite said, she filed for divorce five times, but he allegedly dragged his feet. They only finally got a divorce through the courts on October 25th.

According to Elena, her ex-husband retaliated by returning his gifts: he filed a theft report against her with the police, claiming she had “stolen” all the things he generously gave her. She claims she returned the gifts and 6.5 million rubles the very next day. They signed a receipt stating that Evgeny had no complaints and would not bother her.

Elena said her ex-husband continues to stalk her, threatening her with violence, and stalking her in the parking lot and outside her apartment. One day, the Muscovite received a text message saying, “A sniper is firing a rifle.” At that moment, she says, a red laser was shining in her eyes. According to Elena, things escalated to the point where an unknown man attacked her. The girl's parents' front doors were set on fire. The victim attributes all the incidents to her ex-husband. She claims he wants to drive her into such a psychological state that she will hand over all her property to him.

The woman sought legal assistance and filed a complaint with the Investigative Committee.
