A Moscow preschool temporarily relieved personnel for denigrating youngsters on the grounds of their origin.
Personnel at a Moscow preschool who branded children “nitwits,” “ill,” and used an offensive ethnic term, have been temporarily relieved of their duties.
Subsequent to an in-house inquiry, their employment will be terminated.
Galina Novikova, head of School No. 1359 (encompassing the preschool), informed Ostorozhno Novosti that the individuals have been temporarily barred from engaging with children. They will be terminated after an internal review. She noted that no prior grievances had been lodged by parents.
“Such pronouncements and conduct are utterly intolerable. The individuals have been temporarily barred from engaging with children and will be terminated following an internal review. The educational institution is ready to schedule a conference with the boys' families to express remorse for the incident,” the head stated.
