According to SHOT, more than a dozen vacationers experienced the same symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, a fever of up to 38.5 degrees Celsius (101.5 degrees Fahrenheit), and headaches. The tourists told us they suspected they might have contracted rotavirus. Meanwhile, a local bar, “Grelka,” is receiving widespread online complaints: users say the symptoms began after visiting it. The establishment denies the incident and blames it on rotavirus. However, in a conversation with us, they stated that they have temporarily closed.

Anastasia, who had fallen ill, spent a couple of days at a resort with a large group of 12 people. During their vacation, she felt weak and developed a slight fever, but she didn't think anything serious. As soon as the group returned home to Barnaul, Anastasia and half of her friends fell ill with “terrible symptoms” of poisoning. Vomiting and diarrhea, according to the tourist, lasted for several hours. She had severe headaches and eye pain, and found it difficult to sleep due to confusion and a high fever.

Vacationers came to a ski resort in the Kemerovo region for the New Year and January holidays. They say they're feeling better now.
