A man plunged two children into icy water at Cuba Beach in Sochi.
Eyewitnesses told the media that at 10 a.m. today they were walking along the embankment at Cuba Beach in the Mamaika area.
People heard children's screams and saw a naked man dragging a naked girl into the sea—he dunked her head under the water several times. Then the man submerged a one-year-old boy in the sea.
Locals say it's around 9 degrees Celsius and cloudy in Sochi today, and the water temperature doesn't exceed 10 degrees Celsius. One video shows people wearing warm jackets and hats. According to eyewitnesses, the man reacted aggressively to comments from passersby:
“As a mother of three, this horrified me. A woman, also a mother, approached with a stroller, carrying a baby. She asked what he was doing. The man started yelling and being rude, asking who she was. The woman said, 'I'm the mother.' And he replied, 'And I'm the father.'”
