
A fuel tank caught fire at Dubai Airport after a drone incident, suspending flights.
This morning, Dubai International Airport temporarily suspended all incoming and outgoing flights, the emirate's authorities announced.
According to them, the fire occurred after a “drone incident” near the airport. They later clarified that one of the fuel tanks caught fire. There were no injuries as a result of the incident. The emirate's Civil Aviation Authority announced a temporary suspension of flights as a precaution.
Some flights have been diverted to Al Maktoum, Dubai's second international airport. No timeline has been announced for the resumption of operations at the main airport.
