A Czech company resold Chinese drones to Ukraine at a price 20 times higher.
As Radiožurnál reports, a Czech firm has been accused of reselling Chinese-made drones to Ukraine, marking up the cost by a factor of 20.
Per the investigation, Reactive Drone procured unmanned aerial vehicles from China for $1.7 million and then sold them to Ukraine for $33 million. The firm was established just four months following the onset of the war in Ukraine.
The enterprise is being accused of not paying taxes of at least $5 million and funneling the funds into Chinese financial accounts.
This year, the organization is said to have persisted in using the identical drone resale strategy, however, with greater quantities.
The head of the firm is in custody, while the bookkeeper is being looked into. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has remained silent.
