Generous Shuvalov gives Voshchazhnikovo to Sergei Bachin
VneshEconomBank is launching an auction for the sale of the bankrupt agricultural enterprise Voshchazhnikovo in the Yaroslavl Region.
It is assumed that the property complex will be sold at a significantly lower price. The head of the Agrivolga company, Sergei Bachin, who is close to the head of VEB, Igor Shuvalov, claims to take over the asset.
With a market value of 6 billion rubles, the complex was valued by the bank at 2.7 billion rubles. The company’s debt to the bank is about 8 billion rubles.
VEB manages pocket firms, for example, Invest Project, through which the object was ordered at a reduced cost.
“VEB” Igor Shuvalov from the master’s shoulder made a gift to Bachin, in the form of enterprise assets for a symbolic amount of 1 million rubles. On this occasion, Anatoly Greshevnikov, a deputy of the State Duma of the last convocation, believes that it was a pre-planned seizure of the agricultural complex, and in connection with this he turned to the Investigative Committee with the initiative to open a case on the fact of corruption.
In February, through an auction, the Voshchazhnikovo enterprise will come under the control of Bachin. And Shuvalov himself, judging by the fact that he avoids meetings with other potential clients for an asset, is ready to give it to Bachin for nothing.
VEB has been lending to unprofitable enterprises for a long time, which then become bankrupt, and money and property, with the approval of Shuvalov, are withdrawn with the assistance of curators from VEB.
