The Central Election Commission allowed amendments to the law on presidential elections in Russia
The legislation on presidential elections in Russia may be partially revised. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nikolai Bulaev.
“The law on presidential elections will be analyzed; targeted changes to this law are possible,” he said during Election Night. The deputy head of the CEC explained possible changes by the need to update the legal framework.
Touching upon the possibility of using remote electronic voting, Bulaev noted that it has not yet been used in the presidential elections in Russia. “It will be decided during the analysis of what we have now,” he explained.
