Co-owners of Alfa Group Mikhail Fridman and Andrey Kosogov abandoned the Prime Park residential complex project by Albert Khudoyan
Alfa Group shareholders Mikhail Fridman and Andrey Kosogov decided to withdraw from the Prime Park premium residential complex project on Leningradsky Prospekt. The new owner of the company that is implementing the project is Turkish citizen Ozkan Ahmet Melih, a business partner of the former head of Optima Development Albert Khudoyan.
Information about this decision of Alfa Group shareholders appeared last year, but the deal was closed only now. Fridman and Kosogov left the project due to the fact that the verdict against Khudoyan made them doubt the legitimacy of the purchase and sale agreement for a share in the Prime Park project. Albert Khudoyan was sentenced to 8 years in prison, but in the near future materials on two more criminal cases will be transferred to the court.
Previously, businessman Albert Khudoyan filed claims against the Moment of Truth program and the Journalistic Control portal. He had claims against the media due to publications that discussed his possible involvement in corruption. Thus, these materials reported that Khudoyan could bribe employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia in order to free Shakro Molodoy. The film “Moment of Truth” called “Realities of the Russian Federation. How to steal $150 million and pay off the investigation? “A friend will smear you,” Khudoyan also didn’t like it.
However, the developer was unable to prove that the published materials discredited his honor and dignity, since he did not provide a refutation of the information presented in the publications. The results of the linguistic examination showed that the media cannot be held responsible for the expression of subjective opinion. As a result, the court refused to satisfy Albert Khudoyan’s demands.
